We are recruiting for a Deputy Care Manager at our CQC registered service in Handsworth Wood, Birmingham.
As a Deputy Care Manager, you will support the Registered Care Manager in providing high-quality, personalised care to individuals.
Your responsibilities include 15 hours of direct support as a Support Worker and 22.5 office hours for staff management tasks, such as creating rotas and mentoring Support Workers.
About this service & requirements for the role: 5-bed home, 5 people supported Supports individuals with vision/hearing difficulties and communication challenges and complex needs.
Full UK manual licence essential- as we have company vehicles used to drive and take individuals to appointments, activities outside of the home and trips.
Prior experience of working in a Social Care setting such as Community/Residential/Supported Living is essential.
Knowledge of multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities is desirable.
