About the Role As a Deputy Manager, you'll play a vital role in leading the care home team to ensure residents receive the highest quality care while maintaining a positive, supportive environment for staff and residents alike.
Your Key Responsibilities: • Lead and inspire a dedicated team of care assistants, nurses, and support staff.
• Ensure residents' well-being through individualized care plans and ongoing assessment.
• Oversee daily operations and step in for the Manager as needed.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff while promoting a respectful work environment.
• Act as a safeguarding lead, ensuring the safety and dignity of all residents.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and care regulations.
• Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and external care professionals.
What We're Looking For: • Previous experience as a Deputy Home Manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and CQC standards.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A compassionate, person-centered approach to care.
