This role will give you the opportunity to enhance your skills and experience, alongside delivering high quality urgent dental care.
Our clinics are located in Barnstaple, Exeter, Plymouth, Newton Abbot, Dorchester and Boscombe. Main duties of the jobYou will have the opportunity to work within our Urgent Unscheduled Dental Service clinics on weekends and Bank Holidays across our clinics, dependent on your preference.

Rates: Saturdays and Sundays: £80 per hour
Bank Holiday weekends (all days): £100 per hour
Christmas Day: £120 per hour
Job responsibilitiesDental Registration with the GDCCompleted Foundation TrainingMust have English Performers NumberUp to date on mandatory and recommended dental trainingDentist with at least 2-years of post qualification experienceExperience of working within a range of NHS dental environmentsAbility to work independentlyAbility to communicate effectively and lead a clinical dental teamAbility to quickly develop rapportProfessional attitudeWilling to be flexibleMaintain composure in stressful environmentsAbility to manage workload and prioritise effectivelyEmpathy and understandingPostgraduate skills and qualificationsUnderstanding of the wider dental systemPerson SpecificationDentist registered with GDCMinimum 2 years post-qualification experienceDisclosure and Barring Service CheckThis post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
