Job Description We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist/Therapist to join our dynamic dental practice in Drighlington, West Yorkshire.
As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care and promoting oral health to our diverse patient base.
Start Date: March 2025 however we can be flexible in line with your notice period Days and Hours: 1 x day per week, surgery space available on a Wednesday Perform comprehensive dental hygiene treatments, including Airflow Conduct thorough oral health assessments and develop personalised treatment plans Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care Administer local anesthesia and place dental sealants as needed Take dental radiographs using digital technology Collaborate with dentists and other team members to ensure optimal patient care Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Stay current with the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and infection control protocols Our busy and friendly practice in Drighlington is a fully equipped modern practice with a pleasant and homely working environment.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Dental Therapy or equivalent Current GDC (General Dental Council) registration as a Dental Hygienist/Therapist Proven experience in a dental hygiene and therapy role Proficiency in a wide range of dental hygiene procedures Strong knowledge of current dental hygiene practices and technologies Experience with digital radiography equipment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development Strong attention to detail and a patient-centered approach Ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds Excellent time management and organizational skills Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs Additional Information We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity, equity and inclusion in our workplace.
