Demand Planner

Alexander Steele has partnered with a leading food manufacturer that has an exciting opportunity for a Demand Planner to join their team in the northwest London area.
You will manage demand plans and generate customer unconstrained demand and inventory forecasts.
On Offer: Salary will be circa £45 000 Pension benefits 23 leave days + 8 bank holidays Hybrid remote working options (4 days in the office) Key responsibilities: Establish and maintain customer demand forecasts at agreed frequency Liaise with stakeholders to ensure demand plans are reflective of current market trends and commercial opportunities, whilst maintaining flexibility to maximise our growth potential Match sales, demand and supply planning to meet business commercial targets across all territories and the expanding product portfolio.
Develop and deliver key performance metrics within the S&OP process improving accountability, efficiency, cashflow and profitability along the way Prepare and facilitate S&OP meetings.
The Candidate: Tertiary qualification or degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Economics or equivalent.
Demand Planning and Forecasting experience within a FMCG manufacturing environment.
Use of Demand Planning software and ERP experience essential (SAP will be advantageous).
Strong personal computer skills and advanced proficiency in the use of excel, including spreadsheet tools.
Good mathematical/statistical knowledge demonstrated capability in modelling, analysis and simulations tools.
Agility to work in a changing environment.
