The Opportunity Responsible for all European demand forecasting activities associated with Countries and productsCreation and maintenance of unconstrained demand forecast models for Countries, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance and external market data sourcesTo act as a conduit between supply chain, finance and the commercial organisationRole Responsibility So, what will you be doing?
This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including: Produce unconstrained demand forecasts across multiple countries and aggregate into a European consolidated demand planInteract with sales, marketing and commercial finance to understand demand forecast drivers and improve forecast accuracyProduce and measure forecast accuracySchedule and chair monthly forecast meetings with all Countries in accordance with monthly timetableCoordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances between forecasts and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptionsUpdate Country Managers, Business Managers and other key stakeholders about product availability in a timely mannerProvide input to the business in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products and product phase-outsUse and maintain demand planning system and softwareWork with supply chain to set inventory levels based on future customer demandsPrepare, maintain and present where necessary relevant reports pertaining to demand planning processReview what's changed from one forecast and to the next forecast.

For this role, we're particularly keen to hear from those who have/are: 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in a demand planning position within an international Pharmaceutical or FMCG businessExperience of Supply and Operations Planning (S&OP) process and proficiency in forecastingStrong analytical, organizational, decision making and presentation skillsGood interpersonal skills are essential to effectively interact with all teamsExcellent knowledge of English (verbal and in writing)Willingness to travel within Europe if required
