Job Opportunity: Demand Analyst We are seeking a Demand Analyst to join our Central Functions Supply Chain team in Worksop.
In this role, you will manage forecasting tools, oversee demand and material data, and deliver trend analyses to support product launches, daily production, and product delisting.
Key Accountabilities Forecasting Tool Maintenance: Ensure the forecasting tool(s) are maintained and data quality is managed to generate robust predicted demand figures for the sales and operating planning process.
Business Intelligence Overlay: Combine customer, market, trend, and historical data onto the forecast(s) to provide insights into product and category trends, enhancing production planning decisions.
Volume Forecasting: Lead the process for forecasting volumes, creating operational/production plans, and conducting retrospective analysis for SKUs or promotional events to meet customer requirements and sustain profitable business.
Customer Dialogue: Maintain continuous communication with customers to moderate demand expectations in line with production capabilities and provide customer intelligence to enhance sales forecast reliability.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimize performance to deliver business effectiveness and cost efficiency.
What We're Looking For Ideally educated to degree level with experience in supply and demand processes.
Experience in sales order processing and distribution planning.
Proven track record of managing customer expectations and service delivery.
Experience working in a fast-paced, growth industry or business.
Advanced computer skills, with demonstrated capability in relevant software.
