Main duties of the job The CMO Directorate provides strong clinical leadership to the ICB(and across the Sussex Health and Care Partnership collaborative networks) andsignificantly contributes to the delivery of all statutory and corporateresponsibilities of the organisation.

Reporting to the Head of Clinical Effectiveness the role is tosupport the directorate in taking a strategic lead for clinical effectivenessand statutory duties in relation to Individual Funding Request across thesystem.
The post holder is a key member of the team whose overarching goalis to enable the effective delivery of the statutory responsibility aroundIndividual Funding Requests and a range of programme including prior approvalschemes, guidance reviews, pathway development, designated commissioningportfolio, policy development and research.
The post holder will support the Senior Officer ClinicalEffectiveness who are responsible for coordinating the IFR process andproviding assurance that the (IFR) Policy is fully complied with.
Thepost holder will log all requests and prepare cases for administrative andclinical triage, Panels and Appeal Panels using agreed frameworks Person Specification Other Essential Ability to work on own initiative and organise own workload with minimal supervision working to tight and often changing timescales.
Qualifications Essential Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area Knowledge of administrative procedures, project management or information analysis Basic knowledge of project principles Previously worked in similar position within the public sector Experience Essential Experience of supporting project management Experiencing of managing aspects of projects ensuring they meet financial targets.
