Here at EMIS we have an opportunity for a tech-focused Delivery Lead to join us on a 9 month fixed term contract basis.

Joining our high performing Portfolio Delivery function, we manage a diverse number of cross-functional projects/deliverables of varying sizes and complexity across high profile healthcare sectors, and this role will see you have a focus on hosted infrastructure and cloud migration.

This is a 9 month fixed term contract that is remote working, however our team meet for collaborative meetings on an ad hoc basis.
What you'll do We are a busy team, managing complex deliverables, and conflicting demands and we have a real focus on ensuring quality for our customers, but we also have fun along the way!
You will be accountable for delivering multiple initiatives from discovery, through construction and into BAU.
It is your responsibility to take accountability for planning, tracking and reporting within agreed timescales and quality benchmarks.
Like any project/delivery role, stakeholder engagement is key, and it is no different here.
You will work closely with the business to ensure that the delivery of project work-streams are aligned to strategic business objectives and our commercial priorities.
Other key responsibilities and accountabilities will include; Manage risk, issue, and change, including risk mitigation, escalation, and reporting.
Ensure that you work closely with your team, peers, and wider business to motivate and lead them towards success.
Collaborate closely with customers and third-party suppliers, building trusted and credible relationships.
Working closely with our LPMO function to govern effectively, report and track progress.
Manage scope as well as liaise with other areas of the business identifying dependencies.
Contribute to a high-performing Portfolio Delivery team of and actively encourage and drive continuous improvement.
Who you'll be An experienced Delivery Lead, with a pragmatic but enthusiastic approach towards delivery.
Working with multiple stakeholders and customers, you must be proven in your ability to build great relationships, but also demonstrate your influencing and negotiation skills.
You need to demonstrate your understanding of hosted infrastructure and cloud technology methods, techniques and concepts and have a track record in delivering cloud migration projects.
We are fast paced, so the ability to work with competing demands and in a changing environment is key.
Other skills and experience we are looking for you to demonstrate include; Working knowledge of project methodologies e.g.
Agile, Kanban, SAFe, Waterfall Experience working with hosted infrastructure teams including architecture, platform engineering, DBAs and network engineering.
Ability to operate with own initiative, as well as work as part of a team.
Self-motivated and happy working in a remote environment.
Experience of using a variety of project reporting and/or Life Cycle Management tools e.g., MS Project.
