What's it like?
Fast-paced and physical Variable start times Delivering to houses, flats and businesses as required Typically working 9 hours per day We Offer: £117.00 per day (+VAT if registered) - no additional costs to you _ (Temporary route rate increase to £132.75 per day from Sunday 3rd October to 28th December inclusive) _ Weekly pay, 2 weeks in arrears Flexible working days, including weekends Well-equipped van provided during work shifts Uniform, fuel, insurance and delivery device provided at no cost to driver Safe working conditions Comprehensive large vehicle & on road safety training (1 day paid) Dedicated on-road support manager Routes and parcels pre-sorted, just load and go Performance-related incentive schemes Motivated and diverse team with good progression opportunities Regular engagement events for all team members Essential requirements Right to work in the UK Full manual UK/EU driving licence held for at least 1 year Maximum 6 penalty points on licence - no DR, DG, IN or TT endorsement codes Pass a criminal background check, paid for by us Pass a Drug & Alcohol screening, paid for by us Be able to commute to BS35 (Severnbeach) to collect van each day The Role Multi-drop deliveries, parcels of varying size and weight (up to 23kg max) Self-employed sub-contractor basis Load your van with your day's parcels Use GPS technology to locate the correct delivery location Use a delivery device to complete deliveries accurately, safely and to the required standards Provide excellent customer service at all times, polite and professional in all dealings with customers, colleagues and warehouse staff Maintain a safety-first approach and comply with expected PPE standards Able to be proactive in solving problems on the road _ We will need to screen age for insurance purposes _ Piranha Parcels is a team driven company delivering exceptional results for our clients since 2021.
