Delegated Underwriting Authority Hub Specialist Salary between £67,000 and £75,000 Our Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA) Hub sits in a key growth area within our business and we are looking to amplify our performance through efficient management practices, which is why we have a fantastic opportunity for a DUA Hub Specialist to join our newly created team!
This is a great job for someone with previous experience and the proven ability to develop and implement compliance controls and frameworks!
A bit about the job: This is a newly created key role reporting to the Head of Delegated Authorities.
In their role, this person will collaborate on project and regular workstreams on a number of teams and individual contributors not only from the Multinational team but also the wider Commercial Insurance business.
This therefore requires significant direct interaction with our internal business partners, peers and operations teams, by demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills, and confident in stakeholder management.
This requires for the individual to be comfortable with very senior to operational staff as their remit will bring them into contact with almost all aspects of our business including Underwriting, Product Governance, Distribution, 2LOD Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit.
You will also focus managing every aspect of governance to ensure that all delegated underwriting authority relationships are onboarded and managed throughout their lifecycle in conformity to the relevant processes and risk management.
Skills and experience we're looking for: Worked within the insurance sector in a Risk, Governance or Commercial Operations 1LOD function with an outsourcing focus or aspect International exposure and London Market (Lloyds) experience are essential Previous experience of collating information and completing reports for regulatory attestations, or declarations in support of our conformity to UK and international regulatory standards on material and non-material outsourcing Prior experience in outsourcing and risk management software is essential, coupled with the ability to deliver accurate, relevant, and timely information Ability to coach junior team members, peers and stakeholders to improve the quality and impact of our risk and control environment where it comes to our subject matter of DUA's What you'll get for this role: Our purpose - with you today, for a better tomorrow - is a promise we make to our colleagues too.

Starting salary between £67,000 and £75,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications) Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's.
