Degree Program Director for Power ElectronicsWe are looking to appoint an academically highly qualified specialist to represent our research and education area of power electronics.
The international Master's programme for industrial power electronics is already established, but there is a need for continuous further development.
Additionally, you will spearhead and drive research initiatives in the domain of power electronics.
Responsibilities:Organization and execution of education on master level in the field of power electronicsTeaching of 10 hours per week in the field of power electronic components, systems and circuitsSupervision of Master thesesInvolvement in personnel planning and selectionMarketing as well as further development of the master programme, e.g., including new topicsResponsibility for counselling, selecting and admitting studentsParticipation in interdisciplinary activities as well as collaboration in internal and external projectsSetting up, defining and leading of research projects together with various industrial and scientific partnersYour Profile:Relevant doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with focus on Power ElectronicsExperience in acquisition and management of cooperative research & funding projectsSeveral years of practical experience in one or more of the following fields:Design, implementation and validation of advanced power electronic circuit topologiesModeling and simulation (electrical, magnetic, thermal, EMC, etc.)

Salary: In Austria we are legally obliged to state the minimum salary which is EUR 85.000,00 (gross, annual salary, full-time, 14 salaries).
There is a strong willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and professional experience.
