Eden Scott's client is seeking a knowledgeable and meticulous Defined Benefit (DB) Pension Administrator to join their office in either Edinburgh or Glasgow.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and high-quality administration for DB pension schemes, ensuring that all member records, calculations, and queries are handled professionally and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities: Administer Defined Benefit pension schemes, including processing member events such as retirements, transfers, deaths, and leavers.
Maintain and update member records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with scheme rules and regulatory requirements.
Perform complex benefit calculations for members, including early retirements, transfer values, and pension increases.
Support the preparation of annual and periodic scheme events, such as benefit statements and pension increases.
Handle member and client queries with professionalism, providing clear and accurate information.
Collaborate with team members to meet agreed service levels and deadlines for administration tasks.
Assist in the preparation of reports and data for trustees, clients, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements: Previous experience in DB pension administration with a strong understanding of scheme rules, processes, and calculations.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data processing and record-keeping.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in pension administration software and Microsoft Office applications.
Good communication skills, with the ability to provide clear information to members, clients, and team members.
Knowledge of current pensions legislation and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
