Dealership Accountant

Job DescriptionOur client is a main car dealership who is looking to recruit an experienced Accountant to join their current team.
For this position you must have previous experience working within a main dealership Dealership Accountant Role: Preparation of monthly management accounts Prepare regular and timely reports for Managers and Franchise Directors on stocks and debtorsAssist with the Group cash flow situation, credit control, debt collection warranty claims, etc.Prepare regular bank reports and forecasts Reconciliation, control and correction of key balance sheet accountsAssist in the preparation of monthly and year end accounts to a satisfactory level and in accordance with statutory and Company requirements.
Monitor and correct vehicle sales P&L accounts Monitor and control Kerridge Autoline error reports Control of payroll and associated reporting Ensure high standards of administration and record keeping in compliance with Accounting practice and Company procedures.
Ensure the prompt, smooth and methodical flow of work.
About You: To have experience as a management accountant within the motor tradeTo be part or fully AAT qualified, or equivalent qualificationKerridge ADP experience is strongly desiredTo be able to work efficiently to complete your own tasks, as well as motivating your teamTo be able to complete larger projects, whilst managing your day-to-day workload This Dealership Accountant package is Competitive Depending on Experience Charlotte – Jago Consultants
