In this role you will: • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver robust and efficient data platforms, with a focus on Databricks and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• As the platform SME you will manage and administer data platforms, ensuring we deliver excellent service to our end users.
• You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data processing requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient Platform solutions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Databricks-related issues, working closely with the support team and Databricks vendor if needed.
Qualifications - External To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: • Proven skill set in GCP services such as IAM, GCS, Networking, BQ and Pub/Sub • Experience with Databricks, including architectural design, implementation, support, and optimization in large-scale environments.
• Strong knowledge of Data Lake architecture and integration.
• Devops skills(including Terraform) and at least one coding languages (python,Java,scala etc) GCB Architecture certification would be advantageous.
