Traditional recruitment methods have proved less effective in attracting many of these specific skills, so we are further growing our proactive talent sourcing capability to source and engage external talent who have not previously considered a career in government.Our Talent Acquisition Team are responsible for identifying, attracting, and recruiting specialist talent for HMRC.
As our Talent Acquisition Officer - Data Support, you will proactively support all areas of Talent Acquisition with their reporting needs, ensuring data accuracy which can be used to support recruitment related decision making.
You will also demonstrate flexibility and a passion for team working and supporting your colleagues.Person specificationSupporting the Talent Acquisition Teams in the delivery of resource to multiple areas of HMRC, you will be responsible for, but not limited to;• Collation of monthly reporting for all teams within Talent Acquisition to a range of stakeholders, including ad-hoc report commissions• Provide direct support to the Data Manager, including the implementation of new ways of collating, storing and analysing Talent Acquisition data• Support continuous improvement through the use of data, AI and automation techniques to improve efficiency in reporting and other processes• Support in upskilling teams to increase their capabilities in the use and importance of accurate data.Essential Criteria: Working knowledge of data structures and database design• Experience of data analysis, insight and reporting• Analytical and strong problem-solving ability• Strong attention to detail and adhering to work deadlines• Proficient in the use of Excel and experience in the use and creation of advanced formulas and data manipulation techniques• Working knowledge of PowerBI, for maintaining and updating dashboards • Working knowledge of PowerPoint and PowerAppsDesirable Criteria: • Good interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholdersBenefitsAlongside your salary of £29,475, HM Revenue and Customs contributes £8,538 towards you being a member of the Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme.
