Closing Date2024-12-20Job Title: Data Strategy, Knowledge & Performance ManagerLocation: Durrington (Worthing), West SussexContract Type: PermanentHours: 37 hours per weekSalary: circa £45,000There has never been a better time to join our organisation as we build towards a greener future, tackling climate change, minimising our environmental impact and reducing our carbon footprint!Job OverviewThe new Data Strategy, Knowledge and Performance Manager will support the Senior Process & Systems Manager in the effective operation of all Procurement systems, ensuring data and information being produced by the systems is fit for purpose and is interpreted effectively.You will be responsible for the implementation of an effective framework and policies for data management, including security, data sharing, and data collection, setting the data strategy for ProcurementProactive role that looks to think ahead of the "ask" to be able better support functional & business needsContinuously seek ways of improving the quality of data, the systems and databases usedResponsible for developing and producing all report templates, data analytics, and insights to support the Procurement lifecycleDrive data compliance, ensuring alignment with legal, company, and internal governance requirements, and report on operational performance and complianceEnsure that the data that the Procurement Systems create is accurate and relevantImplement effective quality management and a best practice frameworkCollaborate with teams across the business to drive continuous improvement in data management and reportingManage external procurement data sourcesAbout YouAdvanced IT skills – Microsoft Office suite to include advanced MS Excel and MS Access.Desirable experience with Power BI, Qlikview and/or Tableau and building reporting suites.Strong experience in data/information management, with knowledge of all relevant databases and systems and ETL toolsets.Experience gathering requirements and relevant data from multiple stakeholders.Experience working in utilities/regulatory environment preferable (e.g.
UCR).Knowledge of data extract, transformation, and load toolsets and effective application of their capabilities.Strong experience working in data analytics, collating data across multiple sources and compiling reports.Strong experience analysing qualitative and quantitative data to extract useful insights.PackageThis role will be full time Monday to Friday with a hybrid approach to working between our Durrington office and home.
