The Data Strategy Analyst will play a critical role in defining and implementing data strategies that directly support Study Now's growth and student success goals.
Reporting to senior leadership, this role involves analyzing complex data, generating actionable insights, and aligning data-driven recommendations with Study Now's strategic vision.

Main activities and responsibilities Data Strategy and Analytics: Develop and implement robust data strategies that support strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
Analyse and interpret complex datasets to inform key decisions across the organisation.
Collaborative Insight Integration: Engage with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to align data insights with organisational objectives, ensuring data-driven approaches are embedded in core strategies.
Market Research and Trend Forecasting: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify industry trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive dynamics that inform Study Now's approach to student acquisition and retention.
Sales Performance and Optimisation: Monitor and report on sales performance, providing actionable insights and recommending strategic adjustments to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
Data Quality and Governance: Uphold high standards of data quality and integrity through effective data management practices and adherence to governance protocols.
Strategic Presentations: Present clear, data-driven recommendations to senior leaders, synthesising complex information to influence strategic initiatives and organisational priorities.
Operational Support and Alignment: Contribute to operations-focused projects aligned with Study Now's strategic objectives, enhancing efficiency and supporting organisational scalability.
ROI Modelling and Business Case Development: Lead the development of ROI models and comprehensive business cases to evaluate the feasibility of potential initiatives, supporting informed decision-making.
Feasibility Studies and Market Expansion: Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, conducting feasibility studies to assess and prioritise product expansion initiatives.
Technology Collaboration for Data Integrity: Partner with technology teams to uphold data quality and implement best practices in data collection, ensuring reliable and accurate reporting.
Additional Key Requirements: Data Analysis and Visualization : Skilled in using tools like SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI to analyse and visualize data for actionable insights.
CRM and Marketing Analytics : Experienced in leveraging CRM systems and analysing marketing data to optimize lead conversion and campaign effectiveness.
Education Sector Knowledge : Familiar with key recruitment metrics, sector trends, and data privacy regulations specific to education and student mobility is a plus.
Strategic Problem-Solving : Proficient in identifying challenges and implementing data-driven solutions aligned with recruitment goals.
Process Automation and Adaptability : Knowledgeable in data automation to enhance reporting efficiency, with a commitment to continuous learning in analytics best practices.
Person Specification · Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
Advanced degrees are advantageous.
· Professional Experience: 3-6 years in data analysis, strategy, or a related analytical role, ideally within the consultancy, technology, or educational sectors.
· Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and advanced Excel, with practical experience using business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for data modelling and visualization.
· Strategic Competence: Demonstrated ability to conduct market research, competitive analysis, and strategic planning, contributing to data-driven decision-making processes.
· Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an aptitude for translating complex data into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
· Data Management and Governance: Proficiency in data quality management and governance practices, ensuring high standards of data accuracy and compliance.
· Problem-solving Abilities: Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying challenges, finding solutions, and continuously improving data processes.

· Industry Knowledge: Prior exposure to sales strategy in SaaS, technology, or consultancy is desirable, with a demonstrated passion for innovation and data-driven strategy.
