Our client, is looking to expand their data capabilities with the addition of a talented Data Scientist . This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that harness data to drive impactful business decisions and solve complex challenges.
The successful candidate will bring strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with machine learning, statistical analysis, and data engineering to help our client enhance data-driven strategies and insights.
Key Responsibilities Build and deploy machine learning models that contribute to business improvement across different areas. Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends and insights from large data sets. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate findings into actionable business strategies. Carry out data wrangling, cleaning, and pre-processing to ensure data integrity. Utilise Python, R, SQL, and cloud technologies to manage and interpret data effectively. Develop data visualisation techniques to present findings in a clear and compelling way to stakeholders. Stay updated on industry trends to continuously refine analytics practices. Key Skills & Qualifications Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R . Solid command of SQL for data manipulation and extraction. Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow , scikit-learn , or PyTorch . Familiarity with cloud environments, including AWS , Google Cloud , or Azure . Strong statistical skills and experience using libraries like Pandas , NumPy , and Matplotlib . Proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau , Power BI , Matplotlib ). Degree in a relevant quantitative discipline such as Computer Science , Mathematics , Physics , or Engineering , or equivalent experience. Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
