Data Scientist £450-500pd PAYE 7 month contract Remote - Tech Overview: Im currently partnered with one of the world's leading tech companies who are looking an exceptional Data Scientist to join the team.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects, leveraging data to drive insights and shape the future of our products and services.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and marketing, to deliver data-driven solutions that enhance user experiences and support business growth.
Role & Responsibilities: Analyse large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights Apply knowledge of statistics, machine learning, programming, data modelling, simulation, and advanced mathematics to recognize patterns, identify opportunities, pose business questions, and make valuable discoveries leading to prototype development and product improvement Provide Business Intelligence (BI) and data visualization support, which includes, but limited to support for the online customer service dashboards and other ad-hoc requests requiring data analysis and visual support Design and implement data-driven experiments to inform product development and optimization Generate and test hypotheses and analyse and interpret the results of product experiments Collaborate with engineers to deploy models and algorithms into production Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through Business Intelligence and data visualizations and presentations Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI Essential Skills & Experience: Strong experience using SQL is essential Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R is essential 6+ years of experience in a data science or similar role, ideally in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of projects Previous experience engaging and communicating effectively with key stakeholders Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data mining techniques Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner Experienced working with large data sets Package: Day rate - £450-500pd PAYE 15% bonus 100% remote role 7-month contract
