Our client, a renowned data and research firm, is looking for a driven and experienced New Business Sales Executive to expand their presence within the investment management sector.
The primary focus will be selling equity data products to hedge funds and asset managers, targeting portfolio managers (PMs) and analysts on the buy side.

Key Responsibilities: Proactively generate new business opportunities within hedge funds and asset managers, focusing on equity data products.
Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and develop a deep understanding of their equity data needs.
Conduct high-level consultative sales pitches to buy-side professionals, including PMs and analysts, effectively positioning data solutions.
Meet and exceed new business revenue targets, consistently hitting quotas and delivering exceptional sales results.
Collaborate closely with product and marketing teams to ensure that market needs and client feedback are communicated effectively.
Maintain and develop deep industry knowledge, staying current with market trends, competitor offerings, and potential new sales avenues.
Key Requirements: Proven experience in new business sales, with a successful track record of exceeding quotas and generating revenue within the financial services sector.
Strong understanding of the buy side, ideally with specific experience working with hedge funds and asset managers.
Demonstrated knowledge of investment management, equity markets, and the unique requirements of buy-side professionals.
Prior experience selling data products or subscription-based services is highly desirable.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a consultative approach to sales.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field is preferred.
5+ years of sales experience within financial services, with a focus on data or subscription-based products.
