If so, this might be the role for you We are working with United Learning to find a Data Manager for Manchester Academy (M14 4PX).
You'll be part of Manchester Academy's professional services team leading the processing and distribution of student data.
You'll also ensure the smooth running of all exams, controlled assessments and vocational qualifications.
And be responsible for developing and maintaining school systems of assessment recording and reporting to support teachers.

This role would suit someone with UK experience of managing data, and using PowerBI, Excel, and an MIS to a high standard.

Important Details: Salary is £36121 The role is all year round.
37.5 hours a week 08:00-16:00.

Duties of the Data Manager: Manage all exam processes to make sure everything runs smoothly for internal and external exams, assessments, and vocational qualifications.
Handle student data and maintain systems for recording and reporting assessments.
Analyse performance trends to support teaching and flag any issues to the right people.
Work with senior staff to identify progress gaps and come up with plans to improve attainment for students.
Stay up to date on changes to the curriculum and exams, and keep SLT in the loop.
Work with the Trust Data Manager to share exam and assessment data.
The Data Manager Must Have/Be: 5 GCSEs (A* to C) or equivalent, including English and Maths A Level or equivalent education Relevant qualifications or CPD related to the role Strong verbal and written communication skills Good knowledge of an MIS Advanced ICT skills, especially Microsoft Office and Excel Attention to detail and accuracy Good interpersonal skills for working with colleagues and external contacts Responsible for own development and open to further training Ability to motivate, support, and challenge others Commitment to quality control in all tasks Energetic, committed, enthusiastic, and resilient team player Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines Flexible and adaptable to changing workloads Ability to maintain confidentiality If you're the Data Manager Manchester Academy are searching for, let's talk!
