You will work on one of the most exciting and significant sustainable energy projects that our country has ever seen, being at the forefront of the UK's climate change agenda and energy policy.
Sizewell C is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk.
When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for at least 60 years.
We're recruiting for students to join our Data & Information Management Industrial Placement programme at our Moorgate office (London).
Taking on a real job at a junior level, youll have the opportunity to learn through hands-on experience under the guidance of highly skilled and experienced colleagues.
What we're looking for  Disciplines in Data and Information Management.A genuine interest in the energy industry and a passion for sustainability and being a part of making a difference.
We will need you to be open minded, flexible and have an agile way of thinking to succeed in a dynamic fast paced project environment.Having a strategic mindset that brings innovative ideas.
Effective interpersonal skills are key, as well as being able to demonstrate high ethical behaviour, integrity, humility, and character.
Effective communication skills will be required to manage your stakeholders whilst prioritising competing demands.Training, development, and support for you Over the course of this 12-month programme, youll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in hands-on learning, working on real-world challenges that directly impact the energy industry.
Most of your learning will be on the job, supported by your mentor and the teams around you.
You'll have a chance to apply your academic training to genuine industry problems while completing modules that contribute towards your degree.
Typical activities for the Data and Information Management Industrial Placement may include but are not limited to:  Supporting improvements to safety through communications campaigns, training, and other improvement projects.Looking at how Data and Information Management supports the building and operational life of new power stations; developing the skills necessary to support a wide range of teams on Data Governance, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Platform, Information Management and Digitalisation.
Assisting in formulating, planning and implementing business changes across the organisation.Power in Diversity Sizewell C is a great place to work.

Sizewell C Limited (Sizewell C) is nuclear site licensed company whose business is to design, finance, construct, commission, operate, maintain, and eventually decommission the nuclear power plant and related infrastructure at Sizewell C in Suffolk.
Sizewell C was formerly under the majority ownership of the EDF Group but is currently majority owned by HM Government and operates as an independent company.
EDF remains a key shareholder in Sizewell C and the business therefore maintains close links to EDF as a part of its 'nuclear family'.As a Sizewell C employee, you may wonder why you are contacted by colleagues with an EDF email or see the EDF logo on portals that you access and/or documentation you receive; this is because we have partnered with EDF for the provision of a number of support services whilst we complete a successful transition out of the EDF group.
