About the Role We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain innovative data processing and management systems.
In this role, you'll work at the forefront of data-driven transformation, developing scalable architectures that enhance customer experiences and ensure data security in the Financial Services industry.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and management systems.
Automate data processes by eliminating manual steps, ensuring efficiency.
Build scalable data architectures to support business needs.
Integrate and optimize modern data storage, retrieval, and processing frameworks.
Develop high-performance algorithms for predictive analytics and streaming data transformations.
Collaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders to enhance system functionality.
Ensure all solutions comply with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Embed new data techniques into the business through training, role modeling, and innovation.
Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Proven track record in data engineering roles, ideally in Financial Services.
Expertise in SQL, Python, PySpark, and ETL frameworks.
Knowledge of AWS tools, data warehousing, and modern coding practices.
Familiarity with distributed computing, machine learning principles, and predictive analytics.
Technical Proficiency: SQL/PostgreSQL, Python, PySpark, AWS tools, GitLab.
MS Office Visual Basic, Oracle DB, Business Objects.
Java, C#, Tableau, SAS 4GL.
