Drama & Dance teacher required- Shrewsbury Are you passionate about inspiring creativity and confidence in young people?
Do you have a love for both drama and dance, and the ability to teach these performing arts in an engaging and dynamic way?
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Drama and Dance Teacher to join our team in Shrewsbury.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate drama and dance lessons for students across various age groups.
Encourage students to develop their performance skills in acting, movement, and dance.
Provide constructive feedback to students, fostering their growth and confidence in the performing arts.
Collaborate with other staff to create a vibrant and supportive learning environment.
Requirements: A degree or relevant qualification in Drama, Dance, or Performing Arts.
Experience in teaching drama and/or dance to children or young people (school or extracurricular settings).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
A creative and flexible approach to teaching.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in performing arts education.
(Preferred but not essential) Experience directing or choreographing school productions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
