D365 F&O Senior Functional Analyst

Robert Half are working with a long standing client in the Greater Bristol area to recruit a D365 F&O Senior Functional Analyst on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities: Engage with internal clients to gather and analyse their financial and operational requirements.
Conduct workshops and interviews to understand business processes and objectives.
Customise and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations to meet requirements.
Create functional specifications and design documents for system customisations.
Ensure Change Requests are fully specified, planned, agreed with the Customer and Approved using the agreed Change mechanism.
Provide D365 Application Development Support, including investigating and diagnosing system issues, identifying possible fixes, and improving system stability.
Work with a System Developer to assist development of new functionalities, customise existing modules, and extend the platform's capabilities through code development (e.g., SSRS Report Changes, X++).
Work with System Developer on integrations between Dynamics 365 F&O and other systems or third-party applications.
Conduct testing and quality assurance.
Prepare documentation and provide maintenance and support.
Support & Develop ERP for continual improvement Standard Responsibilities: Understand and abide by Company and departmental rules, policies and procedures.
Training, development, and mentoring of other team members & colleagues.
To carry out other duties as so requested by management from time to time.
Working as part of a team and contributing as much as possible to the wider business.
Cultivate a proactive culture within the IT department.
Responsible for driving strategy and change, ensuring business improvements across IT are implemented to the best standards.
Work with 3rd party suppliers Requirements & Expertise: 3 - 5 Years of Experience in customising Dynamics 365 F&O modules.
Knowledge of integration development between Dynamics 365 F&O and other systems or third-party applications.
Knowledge of testing and quality assurance methodologies Beneficial but not a requirement of EDI knowledge- support and develop new EDI partners ERP Business Processes (Order to Cash) ERP Stock Control Awareness (WMS) Attributes: Self-motivated, enthusiastic and positive approach about their career High personal standards and values Proactive and assertive attitude Dynamic both personally and professionally Smart and professional appearance Friendly and gracious attitude towards management, staff and customers Ability to empathise with customers and have a high standard of etiquette Salary/logistics: £55,000 - £65,000 (dependent on experience) Hybrid working (2-3 days onsite) - West Bristol Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
