We are looking for an outstanding Cook who is passionate about food and wants to make a difference.
You'll be working 30 hours a week, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet, Hope House.
Working days and hours to be discussed at interview.
Hope House is a residential service providing outcome focused care for adults with a learning disability and associated complex needs who may have behaviours that challenge.
The service is split into 2 neighbouring properties Hope House (no.
59) and Hope Lodge (No.
57).
This newly refurbished service consists of a number of bespoke self-contained apartments, studio flats and en-suite bedrooms providing personalised support.
Externally we have a lovely spacious garden where individuals are supported to grow their own plants and vegetables.

Your day-to-day... Prepare, cook & serve nutritional, balanced and appetising meals Provide special diets, taking into account individual preferences & needs Liaise with nursing colleagues to meet patients nutritional & dietary needs Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, service areas & dining room Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and Food Hygiene Regulations Handle, maintain & store kitchen equipment in accordance with Cygnet procedures Use chemicals in line with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations Why Cygnet?

Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
