2515 – Cybersecurity Project Manager – Aberdeen, London or RemoteWe're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager with a strong background in cybersecurity and project management to lead and manage cybersecurity projects.
You'll have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget in large enterprise settings.
Ideally, you'll be able to work onsite in Aberdeen or London (Hybrid working), however we will also consider remote working for the right candidate.
Occasional travel within the UK and Europe will be required as part of this role.
What you'll do Under minimal direction, lead project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for cybersecurity projects, following the agreed project delivery framework Facilitate needs assessments and the development of recommended project control solutions to be used for planning, scheduling, and tracking projects through integration of various Project Management tools and project delivery frameworksDetermine, monitor, and review all project economics to include costs, operational budgets, resourcing requirements, and risksContribute to project estimation process for budget and resourcingPlan, schedule, monitor, and report on activities related to the project, including subcontractor monitoring Ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards and requirements Control project requirements, scope, budget, resourcing and change management risks and issuesEstablish appropriate metrics for measuring key project criteriaManages changes in operational plan via the defined functional processes Assists in the training of the project team on application of the procedures Maintains awareness on emerging technologies and Project Management techniquesDevelop project control and reporting procedures and manages changes in operational planUndertake status review meetings among project team members and stakeholders and escalate risks and issues to the Programme ManagerEnsure project documents are complete, current and appropriately storedWork with management on project proposals, contracts, estimates, and schedulesCoach and advise team members to accomplish project goals, to meet established schedules, and resolve technical/operational issuesWhat to bringExperience of delivering security solutions and services focused projects with a good understanding of security principles and Cyber risks.Understanding of common cybersecurity frameworks (e.G., NIST, ISO 27001, Cyber Essential).Familiarity of network security, cloud security, and systems architecture, current and upcoming Cyber compliance requirements (e.G., NIS, GDPR,) would be an advantageStrong experience of planning and managing multiple projects in an IT infrastructure or application environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environmentAbility to develop projects and deliver them against financial and resource constraints Good project planning and execution skills Proven track record with the use of reporting tools to monitor project activities and analyse project performanceGood verbal and written communication skills, including the ability develop and explain the project goals and objectives to the project team and stakeholdersGood business acumen, including industry and domain-specific knowledge of the organisation and its business units.
