We are seeking an experienced Cyber & Information Security Manager to join our dynamic Technology, Digital and Data Service.
About the Role Are you ready to shape the future of digital services?
As a Cyber Security Manager, you will play a crucial role in our IT and Digital strategy, working collaboratively with colleagues, partners, and senior leaders across the region.
Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, availability, accountability, and compliance of our information systems.
Main Responsibilities Provide expert advice on the selection, design, justification, implementation, and operation of information security controls and management strategies.
Lead in shaping and delivering our cyber security strategy, embedding security into our standards and practices.
Collaborate with our DPO and information governance teams on security and information management matters.
Review and assess vulnerabilities in our infrastructure and technology, building and executing mitigation plans.
Monitor and update our cyber stance and strategy in line with organisational ambitions.
Increase security awareness within the organisation and develop supportive approaches.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging security trends and developments.
Support our digital approach and outcomes to impact residents and businesses through organisational strategy.
About You We are looking for a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) with experience in large enterprise organisations.
You should have a deep understanding of practices and standards such as ISO 27001, agile ways of working, and GDPR compliance.
Your strong influencing and managerial skills, along with the ability to lead and empower others, will be key to your success in this role.
