Job Title: Cyber Security Consultant - Audit Reporting to: Lead consultant Location: Remote with travel as required Role Requirements: Must hold or be eligible to hold government security vetting at SC level Must be currently resident in the UK Reward Package: Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 25 days annual leave plus 8 statutory holidays + Birthday off in addition Buy or sell up to 5 additional days per year Pension Private medical Life Assurance Comprehensive Employee rewards package The Role: This is an exciting opportunity to join our world class Consultancy arm, as a Senior Cyber Security Consultant, supporting the next phase of Cyberfort's growth.

You'll share your knowledge with the team and the wider Cyberfort community, contributing to Group blogs and undertaking research related to technology enhancements.
In this role you'll work as part of a team delivering NCSC Assured Consultancy Services and will cover all aspects of Cyber Security Audit and Assurance capability.
You will offer strong thought leadership in all areas of Cyber Security Audit and Assurance.
What you'll need to do this well: Have an excellent understanding of Cyber Security Audit and Assurance principles and frameworks, such as ISO27001, NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework, NIST Cyber Security Framework and PCIDSS.
Have achieved or be working towards membership of CIISEC and UK Cyber Security Council professional registration at either Chartered or Principal.
Work with multi-disciplinary teams, helping oversight bodies to understand the level of Cyber Resilience of individual organisations.
Produce informative and succinct reporting that clearly articulates any identified gaps, vulnerabilities, associated risks, controls and treatment activity.
Facilitate workshops and reviews with the various customer departments, to audit quality management and process documentation.
Exceptional team working ethic and interpersonal skills Good level of knowledge of the cyber security industry and experience of working in the Finance sector is desirable.
Have a good understanding of modern IT technologies and services, such as Cloud Computing, Mobile Computing, IT Security, Infrastructure technologies, Zero Trust and demonstrate an understanding of security architecture.
