Our client is one of the municipal governing body, so you will be playing a key role as a Customer Services Officer (Housing & Property) Job description You will work as part of the Housing Customer and Support Services team within the Property Services department .
This role is responsible for providing frontline customer service to residents by responding to repairs and maintenance requests.
The position involves managing service requests, maintaining customer records, processing orders, and supporting administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth delivery of property services.
Responsibilities Maintain a welcoming and professional reception area, ensuring a positive first impression for residents and visitors.
Act as the first point of contact for resident inquiries, offering advice and assistance on a range of housing-related issues.
Handle requests via phone, email, and in-person drop-in sessions.
Enter and update data on relevant Housing Management Systems, CBIS/Oracle, Keystone, and other relevant systems to maintain customer records and raise repair work orders.
Assist in the organization of resident meetings, estate events, and support community engagement initiatives.
Respond promptly and politely to resident complaints.
Ensure accurate logging and safekeeping of communal keys/fobs and maintain monitoring systems for property-related activities.
Customer service experience, ideally in social housing.
Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Civica, or the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Requirements Experience handling high-volume data entry and managing customer interactions in a housing or property services environment.
Familiarity with social housing regulations and repairs processes.
Proficiency in CRM systems or the ability to quickly learn new systems.
Strong communication skills.
Basic DBS check required.
