The Opportunity Abbott Rapid Diagnostics is part of Abbott's Diagnostics family of businesses, bringing together exceptional teams of experts and industry leading technologies to support diagnostic testing which provides important information for treatment and management of diseases and other conditions.We are looking for a Customer Service Specialist to join our Rapid Diagnostics-Toxicology business in our Loughton (Essex) site.As a Customer Service Specialist you will be responsible for managing and assisting customers; booking their collections, dealing with queries and representing Abbott in customer meetings or communications with the aim of maximising customer testing quota's and ensure all customers' requirements are met.What You'll Do To build, develop and maintain solid working relationships with all 'major' customersArrange customer testing bookings and control requests which include on-site, customer fixed site and in-house collection demandsProviding regular customer and management information on customer activities with the aim of growing business revenueOverseeing and monitoring customer invoicing.
Log, monitor and respond to customer complaints.Manage the drug testing requests from customers by accurately recording special requirementsAssist the Sales Department with account set up for new customers and implement welcome callsAttend customer set-up and customer review meetingsSupport new projects, processes, systems and initiatives that will drive the business forwardRequired QualificationsEducated to National standardsExcellent verbal, written and communication skillsIT literate and an intermediate skill in Word, Excel & OutlookA self-motivated, organized, positive individual with a flexible approach to workPrevious experience in a customer service office based role
