Working as part of our customer service team you will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive the best possible service each time they contact us.
Role and responsibilities • Telephone and administrative based customer service position • Delivering great customer care in a warm, genuine and friendly manner • Prioritising and processing customer contact via telephone and email • Taking inbound calls from customers with queries about, or looking to make changes to, their motor insurance • Conducting outbound calls to customers to chase outstanding items required to complete their policy or to provide case updates • Processing incoming communication from third parties to ensure our systems and customers are kept up-to-date • Maintaining thorough and accurate records • Delivering targets and working towards deadlines • The successful candidate must have a strong can-do mentality and be comfortable in a high pressure call centre environment Skills and experience required: • Experience in a customer service role • Telephone experience of inbound and outbound calls • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral • Friendly, patient and helpful • Team player with the ability to flex requirements to meet the needs of the business • Exceptional attention to detail • Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook Beneficial, but not essential: • CII qualification • Experience with Open GI software • Experience in the insurance industry, preferably within motor insurance Salary and benefits: • Salary range £23,900-£24,500 depending on experience.
