Customer Service / Credit Controller

Job DescriptionWe are currently recruiting a for an experienced and dedicated Credit Management Clerk to join our high performing and friendly Credit Management team based in Bristol Castlemead.We are looking for a customer focused individual who has a background of fast paced customer service and/or credit management (credit control) based roles.Key responsibilities of this role will include;Resolve customer invoice queries within agreed time scalesManage accounts receivable ledger, proactively contacting customers via telephone and email to ensure invoices are paid to agreed payment termsManage customer interactions via telephone and email ensuring our customers expectations are always appropriately met Actively engage with internal departments such as Sales, Customer Relationship Management, Customer Services and Finance where appropriate to ensure all of the above are achievedComplete ad hoc tasks in relation to the above when appropriateQualificationsAbout YouAs the successful candidate your career history will clearly evidence strong customer service and customer query resolution skills.
You will be comfortable handling both inbound and outbound calls and working to tight deadlines and challenging KPI's.
Alongside these you will need to have;You will have proven and demonstrable experience of working in a fast paced customer service and/or credit management (credit control) environment You will have strong communication skills with a confident telephone manner and the ability to build a quick rapport with the customerYou will be polite and professional at all times and have a willingness to go the 'extra mile' to exceed customer expectationsAbility to work as a team player and on your own initiativeExcellent administration skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office / Google programmesDemonstrate high levels of self-motivation and initiative to effectively problem solve.
