Summary Alexander Steele have partnered with an industry leading alcoholic beverage company who are actively hiring for a Customer Marketing Manager who will assist with the commercial function by driving brand growth through effective marketing strategies.
The position will be responsible for developing and implementing tailored marketing plans for the clients product, ensuring they align with the overall brand and channel strategies.
This role will involve frequent interaction with various departments within the business (sales, marketing, supply chain, procurement, production, and finance) as well as external stakeholders such as distributors, key customers, and agencies.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute customer marketing plans by creating comprehensive marketing plans aligned with brand and channel objectives.
- Collaborate with partners by working closely with key partners like Dunnhumby, LS Eleven Media Services, Nectar 360, Morrisons Media Group, and Co-Op Media Network to deliver effective marketing activities.
- Manage in-channel marketing by developing and implementing various marketing activities, including retailer media, e-commerce, at-fixture visibility, off-shelf display, and POS.
- Collaborate with sales teams to build strategic partnerships with customers and present marketing plans effectively.
- Create regional sales tools and POS materials to enhance brand visibility and availability.
- Ensure the Brand Bank library is updated with relevant product images and develop e-commerce programs.
- Work with brand, artwork teams, and agencies to create engaging and effective marketing assets.
- Measure the ROI of marketing activities and use insights to inform future planning.
- Ensure all activities are communicated to the wider commercial team in a timely and engaging manner.
- Forecast and manage annual marketing investment.
Other Duties - Adhere to company policies and procedures, including quality management, environmental, and safety standards.
- Participate in training as required to enhance skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in customer marketing within the FMCG industry, specifically in Grocery & Convenience channels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation abilities.
- Self-motivated and organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and analytical skills.
- Strategic thinker and problem solver with a proactive and creative approach.
- Adaptable and enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
