Customer Accounts Executive

Position Summary : The Customer Accounts Executive will be the main point of contact for customers regarding updates, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience throughout their interaction with the company.
The Customer Accounts Executive will work closely with other members of the wider team, including Sales and Quality, as and when required.

Contacting customers by phone or e-mail to provide updates to their orders.
Issuing invoice paperwork to customers.
Working closely with colleagues in Purchasing department to keep orders progressed and customer's informed.
Understanding the Purchasing role to assist during leave periods.
Updating customer information in company CRM database to ensure the marketing team have the most up to date contact details.
Liaison with logistics team to provide customers with up-to-date shipping information.
Maintaining up to date customer invoices and delivery details using company in-house order processing software.
Assisting the company's bookkeeper with supplier invoice reconciliation.
Answering phone calls assisting customers with queries where possible or fielding calls to other departments.
Filing company invoices in line with current procedures and organising monthly archives (physical and electronic).
Supporting customers with all aspects of after sales care.
Processing customers credit card payments through secure payment portal.
Assist sales team with preliminary data collection for large tenders.
Book and facilitate interdepartmental meetings.
Supporting the Quality manager with maintain the company's database of ISO registered companies.
Additional support to the business as and when required.
Experience: 2+ years experience in a customer service related role or similar experience (desirable) Understanding of Microsoft Office (required) Work type: Full Time.
Working days: Monday - Friday.
Location: Birkenhead, UK.
Type of work: Onsite.
