Job DescriptionI currently have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Account Manager to join an advanced engineering solutions provider who are involved in various sectors including Rail, Aerospace, Automotive, Space & Defence.As Customer Account Manager you will be driving the business to deliver it's contractual obligations to their clients, providing a reactive and proactive service to the customer base whilst strategically positioning the company as a world leading best in class sustainable supplier.This role requires someone who can think and work on their own initiative in a fast-paced environment, you will also have to influence the business to meet clients' expectations, and highlight any risk commercially, contractually and technically that could impact the company.
Key responsibilities for this Customer Account Manager role:Lead, plan and execute all account management and development activities in respect of nominated customer relationships.Navigate complex organisations (global where necessary), building and nuturing relationships at all levels.Lead, manage and resolve commercial, supply disputes, engineering challenges and delivery of mutually beneficial resolution solutions to all customers.All departmental KPI's.Support negotiation terms of business with the customers.Strategically position the company as a world leading best in class sustainable leader.Management of all new enquiries, feasibility through to quotation and successful order intake.Contract review of all incoming purchase orders.Identify potential new growth and customer opportunities.Set up meetings between new company's practice leaders/principals.Review & identify potential trade shows, exhibitions for which to visit and exhibit at.Manage existing business accounts and relationships.Key requirements for this Customer Account Manager role:Knowledge and experience of sales, pricing and business models.Ability to demonstrate success in performing against revenue targets.Proven ability to influence internal stakeholders at all levels and strong ability to build relationships.Full understanding of sales and cost analysis including tracking key account metrics, forecasting sales and target analysis, site SOP's, RFQ Management and feasibility and pricing accuracy number of price list queries and £'s (debits).Excellent interpersonal skills, with the confidence to approach people at all levels.Ability to work within set budgets, expectations and delivery of results.Excellent Microsoft excel knowledge and ability to use all Microsoft based packages.Commercial and business acumen.Package on offer for this Customer Account Manager Role:Salary £45,000 - £50,00031 days per annum, incorporating fixed holidays to cover Bank holidays and Christmas shutdown.Healthcare Cash planCompany Pension39 hour working week7.45am - 5pm Mon to Thurs & 7.45am - 1pm on FridayMilage coveredHybrid working
