Hourly Rate: £13.05 per hour The advertised salary includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post.
JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.

We have opportunities for caring, compassionate, and enthusiastic people to join our Care Services Cumberland Day Service teams in Whitehaven as Support Workers providing support and care within our Disability and Mental Health Services.
About Day Services (DMH) Care Services Cumberland have a diverse range of Day Services for adults with a physical and/or learning disability.
The support offered is highly personalised to meet the needs of the individual and promote and maintain independence.
Allerdale and Copeland services operate from various sites across the district and provides exciting day opportunities, tailored care programmes and activities including , drama, horticultural, and woodcraft.
About the role As a Day service Support Worker you will get to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care.
You will also assist with medication, providing personal care, and encouraging people to achieve their full potential.
We are looking for support workers who are flexible, enthusiastic, willing to undertake specialised activities and training whilst also sharing your own personal skills, interests and ideas.
No experience or qualifications are needed to get started.
