Our mobile app connects consumers with nearby events, offers, and activities, promoting local businesses and enhancing community engagement. As we expand, we are looking for a visionary CTO or Product Director to lead the evolution of our app, guide our tech strategy, and drive the development of innovative AI capabilities.

Tasks Role Overview:
As CTO/Product Director, you will play a critical role in shaping the PrimoOffers platform, managing our technology roadmap, and driving feature enhancements that create a seamless user experience. This is an equity-based role, ideal for a technical leader passionate about AI, app development, and the local business ecosystem. You will lead a small, agile team and work directly with the founding team to scale PrimoOffers to new heights.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Vision Define and drive the overall technology and product strategy for PrimoOffers, balancing immediate priorities with long-term vision. Align product goals with the company's vision of empowering local businesses and enhancing community engagement. Lead on product innovation, including integrating AI to power personalized, hyper-local offers and recommendations for users. Product Development & Execution Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from conceptualization to implementation, user testing, and iterative improvements. Prioritize and manage the product backlog, incorporating user feedback and market needs into product roadmap. Spearhead development of AI-powered features, including user behavior insights, predictive analytics, and personalized recommendations. Technical Architecture & Engineering Management Ensure robust, scalable, and secure technical architecture to support growth in traffic and user demand. Lead and manage the development team, ensuring timely delivery of product milestones. Optimize app performance, leveraging modern technology stacks and best practices to create a responsive, user-friendly experience. Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and GDPR regulations, especially as they relate to app use and AI-driven features. Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication Work closely with the CEO and founding team to align on vision, business goals, and product strategy. Regularly update stakeholders on product development progress, technical challenges, and roadmap updates. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure marketing, sales, and customer success teams have the tools and data they need. Data-Driven Decisions & User Insights Analyze app usage data to inform design improvements and functionality, ensuring optimal user experience and engagement. Monitor user trends and engagement metrics to drive ongoing product development and identify new opportunities for growth. Requirements Technical Expertise: Strong background in app development (iOS/Android) with proven experience in full-stack or mobile technologies. Knowledge of modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Swift, React Native). AI & Machine Learning: Experience in integrating AI/ML for personalized recommendations, behavior analysis, and predictive insights within consumer applications. Product Management Experience: Ability to lead product vision, strategy, and roadmap execution, particularly in fast-paced startup environments. Leadership: Proven track record in managing engineering teams and third-party vendors, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving. Data Privacy & Compliance: Familiarity with GDPR, data privacy, and security requirements for mobile apps and AI-driven platforms.Startup Experience: Comfortable working in a resource-constrained, equity-based startup environment, with a hands-on and entrepreneurial mindset.
