Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join the CT team at UHNM.
We welcome applications from those already with experience in CT or those wishing to expand their knowledge and skills and train in CT on a Band 5 to Band 6 preceptorship.The successful candidate will be committed to giving our patients and referrers the very best quality of care and service.The CT scanning department currently has nine state of the art CT scanners providing support to a wide range of referrers, including the level 1 Major Trauma centre, Vascular and Neuro intervention, Paediatric , Musculo skeletal, and Oncology services.Being part of the University Hospital of North Midlands brings with it excellent career development opportunities and contributing to the training of student Radiographers on their clinical placement Main duties of the job The successful candidate will be provided with an induction period supported by a mentor, during which time it will be ensured that they are equipped to undertake all of the CT procedures performed during the 24/7 service.
CT Radiographers will be required to participate in the 24/7 shift pattern.Your day to day role would include: o Efficient and effective running of theCTlists, ensuring that policies and procedures are adhered to provide a safe and efficient environment for the patient o Participate in the supervision of student Radiographers o Maintaining good working relationships with allDepartments o Be proactive and keen to fulfil the responsibilities of the Band 6 role as in the Job Description.
