The University is seeking to appoint an interim Chief Operating Officer (COO) for an initial 2-year period to play a central role in the executive leadership of our university. You will provide clear and consistent leadership for Professional Services and help us improve collaboration and effectiveness across areas. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the operational future of our institution during a crucial phase of development and transformation.
Reporting to the Vice-Chancellor and President, the interim COO will support the aligning of our professional services with the University's strategic goals, focusing on delivering an exceptional student experience, advancing academic excellence, and achieving operational efficiency.
The COO will drive cultural transformation by working closely with executive and senior leaders to ensure strategic focus, efficient resource allocation, and a high-performing inclusive professional workforce across the institution. This role oversees core functions, including Commercial Services & Estates; Information Services; Marketing, Recruitment, and Admissions; Education; Student Services and Administration; Strategic Planning & Performance; Research & Innovation Support; and University Operations.
