An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced AML Assistant to join a fantastic Private Client Law Firm within their Compliance and Risk team, working closely with legal and tax colleagues to support the delivery of the firm's Compliance and Risk Strategy.

What you'll do Process online verification submissions and conduct PEP/Sanction screenings Handle general AML queries from colleagues across the firm Review CDD/KYC documentation, including Client and Matter Risk Assessments Assess Source of Funds and Source of Wealth evidence (e.g., bank statements, annual accounts) Communicate outstanding requirements to relevant legal and tax teams Support Financial Crime Advisors with ongoing monitoring, file reviews, and updating the High Risk/PEP register Assist in onboarding and training new employees in AML procedures Contribute to AML projects and perform administrative tasks, including document scanning What you'll need Proven experience in CDD/KYC, preferably within a legal or professional services setting Strong knowledge of Money Laundering regulations and best practices Excellent verbal and written communication skills High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and discretion due to handling sensitive information Proficiency in PC usage and analytical skills; training will be provided on internal systems Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team What you'll receive Competitive salary Competitive benefits package Full training and support Career development What's next?
