On behalf of our client, Zest are seeking a skilled and dedicated Criminal Solicitor to join their highly regarded Criminal Department.
This specialist team is known for its expertise in handling a wide range of criminal cases, from serious crimes to day-to-day legal matters.

About the Firm The firm's Criminal Department is led by two experienced directors and supported by a talented team of solicitors, trainee solicitors, and police station representatives.
Together, they provide comprehensive legal advice and representation to clients facing a variety of criminal offences, including:
Serious Crimes : Murder, sexual offences, grievous bodily harm (GBH), and actual bodily harm (ABH) Property Crimes : Burglary, theft, shoplifting, and criminal damage Fraud and Financial Crimes : Serious fraud and related offences Drug Offences : Drug possession, trafficking, and related charges Public Order and Violent Crimes : Violent disorder, affray, and public order offences Traffic Offences : Driving under the influence, road traffic violations, and more The Role This is an exciting opportunity for a Criminal Defence Solicitor to join a close-knit and supportive team.
Key responsibilities include:
Advising and representing clients across a diverse caseload of criminal matters Preparing and presenting cases in court, while liaising effectively with clients, law enforcement, and other legal professionals Supporting the development of junior team members, including trainee solicitors and police station representatives Ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and client care The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will possess:
Qualification as a solicitor with expertise in criminal law Strong advocacy and case preparation skills Ideally be Police Station accredited Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities A proactive, client-focused approach to legal representation Why Join This Team?
