THE ROLEYou can expect to be involved in the following day-to-day:Designing and developing credit risk models for both regulatory and business applications, with a strong emphasis on IRB and IFRS9 frameworks.Conducting validation and critical review of models, focusing on aspects such as design, performance, and implementation.Leading stress testing initiatives, from operational execution to model development and validation.Analysing large credit risk datasets and driving improvements in data quality.Integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors across data, models (including IRB, IFRS9, and stress testing), and risk management processes.Interpreting and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supervisory expectations.Addressing and resolving findings from regulatory bodies.Communicating and presenting results to senior management and stakeholders.YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCESTEM degree.
6+ years of experience working for a bank or consultancy in the risk analytics space.
Deep technical experience in model development, validation, and implementation of IRB, IFRS9, or Stress Testing models.
Proficiency in Python, SAS, SQL, or R. Detailed knowledge of UK or European regulations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
