Credit Controller  Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 DOE Hours: Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5.30pm (with 1 hour lunch) and Friday 8.30am to 5pm (with 30 minutes for lunch) Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for managing finances?
We are searching for a proactive and experienced Credit Controller to join our client's friendly and dynamic team!
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing customer accounts, ensuring timely payments, and minimising credit risk.

Main Responsibilities (but not limited to): Monitor and manage accounts receivable and cashflow to ensure timely collections and reduce overdue balances Communicate with customers via phone and email to resolve outstanding issues and collect payments, or alternatively placing customer accounts on hold Perform credit checks on new customers Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and transactions Report and resolve any cashflow discrepancies and issues with both internal and external customers Identify and escalate potential credit risks to senior management Raise invoices in line with EOC/SOC Collection of petty cash and banking of cheques where required Prepare regular reports on outstanding debts, credit limits, and cashflow forecasts for the CFO Deliverance of bi-weekly meetings with the projects team and quarterly debt review meetings Assist with HSQE audits, both internally and externally The Ideal Candidate: Have proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role Strong understanding of credit and collections principles Ability to prioritise workloads to provide smooth and timely credit control operations Be proactive and innovative; suggesting improved approaches to company performance, credibility and profile Excellent communication and negotiation skills Attention to detail and strong analytical skills Ability to handle confidential information with complete discretion Ability to work well independently and in a team setting Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with financial software where possible Benefits: 10% company bonus scheme (payable on a quarterly basis) Holiday days 25 per annum plus 8 Bank Holidays (3 holiday days are required to cover the Christmas office shutdown) Company pension scheme, company contribution of 4.5% increasing to a maximum of 6.5% based on years of service Private Healthcare Scheme Career Progression If you are looking for a new Credit Control adventure with a supportive and inclusive work environment, we advise you to apply today!
