As a result our people get to enjoy working on some of the most exciting projects in the world.Job DescriptionJob purpose summary: To deliver a fees recovery performance within the expectations outlined and in line with the credit policy and procedure of a global companyKEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure that debts are paid to termsMeet cash & debtor day targets set by the CompanyChase overdue invoices by telephone and email within agreed timescalesMaintain accurate records of all chasing activity applying process at all timesCommunicate regularly with senior personnel to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessaryIdentify changes in payment patterns and propose action to avert indebtednessHandle disputed invoices and support negotiation to bring payment within termsProvide accurate advice on queriesIdentify client issues impacting prompt payment.
Understand a client's billing and payment process cycle and propose and drive resolutionsOperate with and manage invoicing on client portalsRespond promptly and completely to both client and internal enquiriesUndertake account reconciliations as requiredSupport and deliver all company policies, procedures and corporate governanceSupport cash postings and reconciliationsManage credit note requirementsEnforce client contracts & mitigations when applicableProvide ad-hoc reporting and other activity as required from time to timePlace the core objectives of the finance team at the centre of everything we doQualificationsESSENTIAL WORK SKILLS: Able to demonstrate experience of working in a professional, busy and demanding environmentAlways deliver quality outputsGood understanding of credit control policies, procedures, sales ledger credit managementExperience of credit control management systemsPossess a good understanding of Excel and WordExperience of dealing with clients at all levels and senior internal personnel to manage client accountsAbility to manage & prioritise an extensive caseloadPERSON SPECIFICATION: Excellent communication skills at all levelsGood keyboard skills and competence of Excel and WordHigh standard of numeracy, accuracy with attention to detailA team player with a flexible approach and a willingness to learnOutgoing and confident personality who can operate at all levels & build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the businessA self-starter who is pro-active and can set and achieve goalsGood standard of educationStrong organisational & time management skillsAbility to recognise potential risks that should be escalatedAdditional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
