We're on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Credit Controller to join our thriving team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, working 40 hours per week at our vibrant Banbury site in Oxfordshire.
Why This Role is Exciting: As a Credit Controller at DCS Group, you'll be at the heart of our operations, playing a pivotal role in maintaining our financial health and driving business success.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Proactive Debt Management: Keep our overdue balances in check while being the go-to expert for resolving customer invoicing queries.
You'll be the linchpin in maintaining smooth financial operations and supporting our team with any debtor-related issues.
Account Reconciliations: Ensure our accounts are accurate and issues are swiftly resolved, helping us maintain strong, transparent relationships with our clients.
Risk Mitigation: Stay ahead of the game by flagging late payers and potential risks, working closely with our Credit Control Manager to safeguard our business.
Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement by collaborating with account managers to enhance our cash collection and query resolution processes.
Ad-Hoc Responsibilities: Whether it's reporting, bank reconciliations, or stepping in to support your colleagues, you'll be a versatile and valuable team member.
What We're Looking For: Credit Control Expertise: You're experienced in credit control with a knack for numbers and intermediate Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables).
Organisational Superpower: You're a highly organised, confident, and time management guru, capable of delivering top-notch customer service.
Team Player: You thrive in a fast-paced, commercial environment, enjoying the camaraderie of a dedicated team.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with Sage accountancy software and databases is a bonus, but your willingness to learn is what counts.
