Robert Half is working with a Glasgow city centre real estate firm to recruit for a Credit Controller.

For the right candidate, this role offers: Salary is up to £30k + bonus of up to £5k and hybrid working (2-3 days on site) + excellent benefits.
Duties: Proactively manage and collect debts using effective collection techniques.
Ensure adherence to all credit control processes and develop them where necessary.
Allocate workload efficiently across a portfolio of clients.
Foster and develop relationships with key contacts throughout the business and with clients.
Investigate, reconcile, and escalate queries through to resolution.
Conduct regular meetings/conference calls with stakeholders to review client debt.
Recommend appropriate bad debt write-offs.
Support the Treasury team with monies allocation and account maintenance.
Respond promptly to relevant client enquiries.
Collaborate with the business to reduce the debt position.
Maintain accurate records of all debt chasing activity.
Manage and clear all queries in the relevant mailboxes.
Requirements: Proven experience in credit control, particularly with complex debts.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the use of pivot tables and vlookups.
