Credit Controller

A well known and successful manufacturing organisation are seeking a Credit Controller to join their team for a twelve month FTC.
This role is full time, with flexible working, hybrid, and offers some excellent benefits including a company bonus, generous holiday package, health care and company pension.
The successful candidate will have previous credit control experience, with a good understanding of Excel where you will be able to produce 'lookups' and pivot tables.

Job Role Credit Risk Assessment Provide support to analysts with preparation of global customer reviews as defined by the Group Credit Policy and in line with the Credit & Risk Management policy and procedures.
Ensure adherence to the current policies and procedure in place ensuring political and sovereign risk falls in line with our company Group Trade terms.
Prepare risk assessment paperwork for analysts to obtain correct approval signatures on customer credit files.
Provide reports for risk reviews at defined intervals, working with the analysts to provide trading solutions to global business units.
Customer Data set up and maintenance Ensure customer payment terms, names & addresses within the various ERP System billing address sites are set up and accurately maintained.
Ensure that the credit limits are maintained in line with credit policy and approval levels.
Provide support in maintaining customer data integrity and work on ad hoc data clean up data projects.
Cash Collection Control supplies to customers not adhering to secure payment criteria.
Check and despatch documentation to bank in line with deadlines Documentary collections using Maxtrad software.
Liaise with Bank to ensure prompt payment.
Liaise with Group Treasury to ensure adherence to Group Treasury Policy.
E.g.
banks used meet 'investment grade' criteria.
Provide Documentary Collection bank charge breakdown information/documentation to Treasury for approval - Training will be provided.
Daily Tasks Credit risk assessment on new and existing customers.
Handle in-coming e-mails; Run and action Credit holds within the ERP system & Ad Hoc tasks Reporting Good excel skills utilising vlookups, formulas and pivot tables with a view to streamlining manual processes.
