Credit Controller (German Speaking)

With offices in the UK, USA and South Africa, we are a growing Travel Management Company specialising in the charity, academic and not-for-profit sectors, and we are proud and passionate about what we do.We are currently looking for an experienced Credit Controller (German speaking) to ensure accuracy and completeness of the sales ledger and communicate with clients regarding outstanding debt.
The role will suit an experienced credit controller who enjoys working in a high-volume role and has a proactive, determined and professional style.
Primary responsibilities will include:Effectively managing a share of the debtor book of the companyDaily collection of due amounts via telephone, email and letterInvestigating and collecting evidence to support debt collectionBuilding strong relationships with the finance departments of our client baseResolving unallocated receipts / credit balancesDealing with and resolving queries in a prompt manner through a helpdesk ticketing systemLiaising with clients following incorrect or missing remittancesProven Credit Controller experience gained in a high-volume environment.Demonstrable energy, flexibility, proactivity and a "can do" attitudeThe ability to work independently, and within a team, to achieve individual and departmental targetsGood analytical and Excel skills with excellent attention to detailExcellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the desired outcome.A solid understanding of finance is essential (AAT qualification or above is desirable)Fluent in German Salary up to £33k (dependent on experience) plus bonusOpportunity for combination of office and home working23.5 days holiday (plus bank holidays), rising to 24.5 daysOption to buy or sell additional annual leave Excellent opportunities for progression in a fast-growing companyEmployee Assistance ProgramHealthcare Cash PlanPensionLife AssuranceSeason ticket loanDiscounted staff travelCycle to Work SchemeCentral Manchester officesWelcome to Diversity Travel – We are a successful travel management company for the charity and academic communities.
